Apple Valley Golf Course, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in West Branch, Michigan.
Apple Valley Golf Course first opened for play in 1982. The course was designed by Alton LeDuc.
The fairways are tree lined, and water hazards (a river, lakes and ponds) come into play on at least seven holes. This is a scenic, hilly course has elevated tees and large-sized greens. A nasty dogleg right fairway is present on hole #15, a 227-yard, par 4. The 130 acres of rolling hills and woodlands of Apple Valley provide spring, summer and fall beauty, as well as a challenge to your golf game.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 5,024 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 4,325 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 18, a par-5 that plays to 510 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 12, a par-3 that plays to 100 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 18, a 510 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 5, a 234 yard par-4.

Parts of this course are quite beautiful and other parts and built in a swamp. If you're ok with variety and challenge this is your course. I've only been here once but will likely come back to try it again.
